The glorious sunrise reminds me of you

providing me with a heavenly view.

Your sacrifice of being slain

for our sins would have been in vain.

You’re no longer held by death’s chains

therefore I’ll sing with joy He reigns.

I hate the very thought of war

She feels safe in her father's arms

 

Her dad would never let her go

No reason she should feel alarm

upon shores of time

footprints may melt away

as wild waves come and go

the direction you take

is your choice

Let's Give Him Praise

When everything is going great

let's give Him praise.

He gives us cause to celebrate

our hands we'll raise.

We'll lift our eyes to see His grace;

someday in heaven see His face

.

Although the sunshine doesn't blaze,

let's give Him praise.

When bad health comes to devastate

we'll lift our gaze

.

Let's thank the LORD and meditate

on all His ways.

When trials in our life appear,

recall our God is always near.

In all His ways He does amaze,

let's give Him praise.
