Give Me Jesus

Give me Jesus when I awake

May my faith be real, never fake.

May I by His side always stay

as I read His word and obey.

Give me Jesus now every hour.

He’s my strong and mighty tower.

Whene’er I need some help to cope,

remind me that He is my hope.

Give me Jesus throughout the night

until the dawn brings morning light.

I’ll thank Him for glorious grace

and Holy Spirit’s sweet embrace.

Give Me Jesus when my life ends

and His angels my soul attend.

for now and through eternity.
