Love of a Father
the great longing of our hearts
call on His blessed name
He's waiting to hear from you
behold God's amazing love

I'm Not Alone

The journey is too long for me,

I cannot make it on my own.

He hears my plea on bended knee.

He says, “My child you're not alone.”

He gently lifts me to my feet;

then side by side we slowly walk.

Then early every day we meet;

hour after hour we sit and talk.

My Lord tells me he'll never leave.

Upon His Word I'll take my stand.

All through my life to Him I'll cleave,

my solid rock, not shifting sand.

This girl's gift is gab

secrets, she might blab

Be careful of what you say

or quick as a wink,

before you can blink

your stories she'll give away.

She's just two months old

but she's very bold.

Please don't scold this pretty miss.

Tell things she can share

and spread everywhere.

When she's grown, you'll reminisce.

Living With Eyes Open Wide

To live each moment with eyes open wide

And behold the splendor which surrounds me

Aware of my creator by my side

So grateful for daily blessings I see.

Oh to be more aware of God’s glory

And love the people He puts in my life.

To see His plan play out in my story

How He gives me joy even during strife.

Each day to see and know He loves me more

As I notice His gifts beyond measure

This precious Savior and friend, I adore.

To walk with Him is my greatest treasure.
