Moonlight on the water does its dance
Fills the night with wonder and romance.
Stars add to the beauty of the scene
Giving me a feeling so serene.
Soft music of the night
Nature's wonder and delight.
Cicadas join in a song
Calling others to sing along.
God created all I hear and see
All the wonders around me.
I'll praise God when I wake
For these moments at the lake.
