Special People
A child smiled at me today,
chasing my gloom away.
I sang a happy song.
She giggled, then sang along.
What a precious treat
from this child so sweet.
Two little boys made my day;
although they live far away.
New pictures up on facebook
that their sweet Mom took.
What changed your sadness,
turned it into gladness.
Thank God for family and friends,
the special ones He sends.
